I didn't know what to expect after Homu's final transformation. Is homu evil after the movie? Does Homu embrace selfishness instead of letting go of it? It seems to me the Japanese tend to have this theme of selfishness & selflessness depicted in anime in prominence since Eva. This same theme is portrayed in Kakuja tokyo ghoul.
Do the Japanese beleive to love other people? Its like the Japanese theme's of these show's are either overwhelmingly the self narrating struggle of the otaku creator's own struggle to walk the thin line of selfless love & selfish love or in general believe every human struggles with this in what comes off as a hyper or exaggerated way.
